| Title | New Career Path in Globalized Society ～Diversity in Career Path Choices～ |
| Introduction | Rapid globalization and expansion of international society that has been developing within not only Japan but worldwide brings us an increasing diversity in career choices. By looking not only within Japan but also globally, the possibilities for achieving a successful career have greatly expanded. However, it is not easy to achieve a successful career and a satisfying life without the multicultural skills in a globalized society. Recognizing the cultural differences and partially adapted to certain foreign culture is essential for not only academic works but also daily life in a foreign country. In this lecture, we have invited four speakers who have followed unconventional career paths. Through sharing their career and life experiences, we look forward to providing insights and open different windows for young researchers, advertising possibilities to the ones who are facing the choices of their career paths, encouraging people to take challenges, and introducing essential multicultural skills. |
